The Project

A Mikvah Long Overdue

For 25 years, men in our community made do by informally using the women’s Mikvah, an arrangement that was understandably a source of real discomfort for many women. With Covid, that practice was discontinued, leaving men without a mikvah at all. This new, dedicated men’s mikvah finally resolves that, giving men a proper space of their own and ensuring the women’s mikvah remains solely for women.

The sacred practice of Tevilah, immersion in a kosher Mikvah, occupies a treasured place in Jewish spiritual life, observed daily by some, before every Shabbos and Yom Tov by others, and in preparation for the Yamim Nora’im by all.
